Gentlemen's Club Expo Expecting Big Turnout

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Based on pre-registration numbers, ED Publications, producer of the 2013 Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo expects record-setting numbers of adult nightclub owners — particularly the club chain operators — to be in attendance at this year’s show.

The event is being held Aug. 20-22 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

“EXPO 2013 is shaping up to be our most well-attended show, perhaps ever, in EXPO history,” Don Waitt, publisher of ED Publications’ Club Bulletin said. “With the theme of this year’s show as ‘Money’ — mainly how clubs can make more of it — every owner can understand the advantages of attending this year’s show.”

Representatives from Rick’s Cabaret, Deja Vu/Hustler, Spearmint Rhino, PT's/VCG, Penthouse, MAL Entertainment, Scores, The Pony Clubs and newcomer Vivid will be showing attending, sponsoring and exhbiting at the three-day event. Also represented will be the Christie’s Cabaret and The Men’s Club chains.

“By exhibiting, these national chains are showcasing to our more traditional vendors, like Anheuser-Busch and Red Bull, that adult nightclubs have established their own brand identity,” Waitt said. “Along with the other club owners and executives in attendance, vendors will experience even more foot traffic which will only enhance the panel sessions, nightly parties and our Annual ED’s Awards Show.”

The organizers said the Expo draws more than 3,000 attendees, including more than 1,700 club owners, general managers, and club personnel from individual clubs and club chains. Other Expo attendees include liquor, beer and wine distributors; food and beverage companies; club furnishings and bar products companies; attorneys, architects, club brokers and insurance specialists; and sound, lighting and staging companies.

This year's Expo will include three days of workshops and panel sessions geared toward club owners, general managers and other key club personnel; two days of a 300-booth tradeshow with vendors offering their latest products and services; two evening parties that are equal parts networking and enjoyable fun; and the 16th Annual ED’s Awards Show at Vegas’ House of Blues, honoring the industry’s top adult nightclubs and entertainers.
