White Tiger Partners With D&E Productions

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — In an effort to reallocate resources, gay distribution label White Tiger Releasing has officially partnered with D&E Productions.

According to Rob Ragan of White Tiger, the partnership will help create smooth day-to-day operations for the recently formed company.

“For all concerned, this changes nothing in the way things are already handled, it just simplifies the specifics, makes the company work more efficiently and outlines how White Tiger Releasing handles business on a day-to-day basis,” Ragan said.

Under the new partnership, Ragan will handle the sales and marketing for each video line, while David Adamson, co-owner of D&E with Edward Allen, will focus on maintaining relationships with the company’s stable of producers and directors, as well as adding new production companies to the mix.

“I have decided to let David at D&E Productions handle all aspects of dealing with the separate studios and any new production studios that become part of the White Tiger Releasing family,” Ragan said. “David is great at dealing with the producers and directors and he has an excellent relationship with many of the production companies that are not represented by White Tiger.”

White Tiger currently distributes lines from six different gay-owned production companies. According to Adamson, White Tiger expects to add more producers to its lineup in the coming year with Ragan focusing on sales and him putting his weight behind networking with other content companies.

“Rob Ragan has done an excellent job of marketing and promoting all of the video labels and DVD titles that we have given him to sell in such a short period of time,” Adamson said. “With his years of experience and knowledge of selling gay product, we have lots of respect and faith that this partnership will make White Tiger Releasing the new premier video distributor for high-end pro-amateur films.”
