LOS ANGELES — Homegrown Video announced today that in an effort to rebrand its DVD line, all future box covers will include new vibrant art.
The company said the new covers make a statement, commemorating it as the source of “the world’s largest collection of real amateur porn.”
Upcoming releases with the new box art include “Homegrown Girlfriends: Volume 4,” “Curvy Amateur Girls #23,” and “Amateur Anal Attempts #34.”
In addition to its slogans, the new box art also highlights the studio for its record number of awards for amateur content. The back covers are also designed to better showcase each scene’s content.
“We’ve been the number one source of amateur porn for over thirty years, but sometimes it’s important to remember to shake things up a bit,” Homegrown owner Farrell Timlake said. “While we have many additional developments in store, including new series, I want to stress our business model of real amateur content and mission to celebrate sexuality will always remain in tact.”
The company maintained that despite imitators its look is "100 percent real — an unrivaled attribute of Homegrown Video.”
Homegrown also noted its two XBIZ Awards and 11 AVN Awards that included Best Amateur Release, Best Amateur Series, and Niche Studio of the Year. In 2009, Timlake (aka Tim Lake) was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame.
