Video: Francois Sagat Says Adieu to Porn

ANAHEIM, Calif. — French porn star Francois Sagat announced his retirement from porn in a succinct video shot in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disneyland Park.

“Hello, I’m Francois Sagat and from this day forward I’ve retired from porn,” he says to the camera in the clip he posted on his personal blog.

When Sagat finishes the sentence, he looks wistfully into the distance and the black-and-white video reverts to color.

Sagat explains in the blog post that he has been busy working on many projects and has not had the opportunity to update his website often. “I want to tell you everything,” he wrote. “But I do not plan to make porn again. No regrets. Just new goals.”

The openly gay adult star began his career at the French studio Citebeur before moving to L.A. to work with Raging Stallion Studios in 2005. He later left Raging Stallion to become an exclusive at TitanMen.

In 2011, Sagat began directing and producing for Titan Media. He released a two-part film “Incubus” for which he won the 2013 XBIZ Gay Movie of the Year award.

In addition to his adult work, Sagat has enjoyed mainstream success in film, fashion and photography; he appeared in "Saw VI,” inspired Bernhard Willhelm’s Francois Sagat Classics wear collection and was photographed by Terry Richardson, among other artistic accomplishments.

Sagat is also widely known for his conspicuous scalp tattoo.
