LOS ANGELES — Nominations for the 16th annual Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show got underway this week at TheEDAwards.com.
The show, which is the featured event of the annual Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo Aug. 20-22, will be held on Aug. 21 at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. It will be hosted by comedian Adam Hunter.
The ED Awards will honor the best in adult nightclubs, club staff and feature entertainment.
The 2013 award categories are:
Overall Entertainer of the Year
(the industry's best feature entertainer)
Newcomer Entertainer of the Year
(feature entertainers who have been touring for less than two years)
Adult Movie Entertainer of the Year
(feature entertainers who also do adult film)
Club Favorite Entertainer of the Year
(feature entertainers who are consistently re-booked due to their performance)
Region 1 Club of the Year / Northeast
Region 1 "Small Club" of the Year / Northeast
Region 2 Club of the Year / Southeast
Region 2 "Small Club" of the Year / Southeast
Region 3 Club of the Year / Midwest
Region 3 "Small Club" of the Year / Midwest
Region 4 Club of the Year / Central
Region 4 "Small Club" of the Year / Central
Region 5 Club of the Year / West
Region 5 "Small Club" of the Year / West
Feature Club of the Year
(those clubs who book feature entertainers at least once per month)
