Porn Star Priya Rai Goes to Bollywood

NEW DELHI — Adult star Priya Rai will make her Bollywood debut soon.

Rai, who has shot more than 100 adult movies and continues to be a hot property on the web, is set to star in an independent film to be produced by Asokan PK.

She started her porn career at 29 in 2007 and has been nominated twice for XBIZ Awards — MILF Site of the Year in 2011 and Porn Star Website of the Year in 2010. Rai moved to the U.S. from New Delhi at the age of two after she was adopted by a U.S. couple.

Rai follows in the footsteps of Sunny Leone, another Indian porn star who capitalized on a Bollywood career.

Some media outlets already have called Rai "the new Sunny Leone of Bollywood."
