Monarchy Distribution to Donate VOD Revenues to Boston Hospital; HotMovies.com to Match Donations

LOS ANGELES — Monarchy Distribution has announced it has pledged 100% of its VOD revenues for the month of April to Boston Children's Hospital to help children and families affected by the bombings during the Boston Marathon.

"We just want to do our part for the people affected by this terrible tragedy," said Monarchy owner Mike Kulich. "One of my dearest friends that I grew up with is a nurse at Boston Children's Hospital and it was difficult listening to her tell me what happened in the wake of the bombings."

Monarchy will donate 100% of all of its VOD revenues earned during the month of April from Hotmovies.com. The VOD service will also match dollar for dollar all of Monarchy's April VOD revenue and donate it to the Boston Children's Hospital as well.

James Cybert, director of business development for HotMovies, said, "We were so saddened to learn of the tragedy in Boston and we feel it's important to join Monarchy in reaching out to help. We are keeping the victims in our thoughts and hearts during this difficult time."

Kulich added, "There is nothing better than seeing the people I work with come together for a common purpose and good cause. A big thank you to James and everyone at Hotmovies for matching our donation and helping out the great city of Boston."

Boston Children’s Hospital continues to aid in the recovery following the explosions and care for those who were injured in the attack. The Marathon Program supports the hospital's areas of greatest need, and the Emergency and Trauma fund helps kids and families get the emergency treatment they need.
