LAS VEGAS — Kayla-Jane Danger's novel, "Pleasure or Pain," based on Zalman King’s film, is now for sale on Kindle via Amazon, written under her pen name Kayla Jane.
The storyline of "Pleasure or Pain" revolves around Victoria, a young, jewelry designer who crosses paths with a wealthy entrepreneur Jack, changing her life forever.
She falls completely under his control. Their story is one of daring sexual adventures, power, possession and pushing the envelope.
Victoria lives to tell the tale and narrates the book, using it as a vehicle to tell her cautionary tale.
In September, the movie version by Zalman King starring Kayla-Jane as Isabel will premiere exclusively on Cinemax.
“This was Zalman’s last film and I wanted to pay homage to him with the book — it was an honor to work with him on the movie,” Danger said.
“Make sure to read the book before the movie premieres, and get ready to be turned on. When was the last time you took a sexy book to bed?”
