NEW YORK — Julie Simone won the 2013 Indie Porn Icon at the Feminist Porn Awards.
This was the first time she was an invited guest and asked to speak on a panel.

This weekend, she will be headed to our nation’s capital to be the HeadMistress at Bound in DC.
"Bound was the first BDSM club I ever went to; it used to be a weekly event in DC and we're bringing it back as a monthly party,” Simone said. Featuring guest DJs, burlesque acts and other surprises, the event is Friday, April 12 from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. and will take place at Phase 1 at Dupont located at 1415-22nd Street NW in Washington DC.
