Sheri's Ranch Launches First Nevada Brothel Blog

LOS ANGELES — The Resort & Spa at Sheri’s Ranch, a legal brothel located outside of Las Vegas, has announced the launch of Sheri’s Blog.

The blog is being billed as Nevada’s "first online platform created by a brothel to discuss events, ideas and experiences related to the brothel industry."

Chuck Lee, owner of Sheri’s Ranch, said that his company decided to launch a blog because "there are a number of restrictions that licensed brothels must adhere to when interfacing with the public."

"If we have something to say, we can’t buy a newspaper ad or put a 30-second spot on TV," Lee said. "The blog allows us to have a voice that can comment on events related to the prostitution industry and share our position on controversial issues related to our profession.”

Lee said that he encourages all of the legal prostitutes working at Sheri’s Ranch to get involved and contribute to the blog. “Of course, the blog also allows us to showcase the intellectual opinions of our lovely ladies, not to mention their other attractive assets," he added.

Jeremy Lemur, the communications lead for the brothel, said Sheri’s Ranch "is arguably the top brothel in Nevada."

"Other brothels have gained a share of media attention that is not commensurate with the services they offer or the success that they have achieved," according to Lemur. "Our blog allows us to enter the conversation in a way that no other bordello has to date.”

Lemur said that the post "Legal Prostitution is Just Wrong" is an example of how the blog helps to voice the opinion of the company and the brothel industry. “It’s a good example of the ‘Legal Prostitution Manifesto’ aspect of the platform that many upcoming posts will elaborate on,” Lemur explained.
