LOS ANGELES — Tanya Tate has received two X-rated Critics Organization award nominations.
The nominations include MILF of the Year and Mainstream Favorite.
"I'm very grateful that the XRCO has noted my scenes and nominated me for MILF of the Year," she said. "I made an effort to always give energetic and varied performances because the fans let me know what they wanted to see. For the critics to see that as well, is very rewarding."
As a superhero cosplayer, Tate has solidified herself in geekdom as a legitimate personality. A multitude of genre-related sites have featured Tate and she has made appearances across the country for her cosplay endeavors and even released a photo book, "Tanya Tate: My Life In Costume" that chronicles her first years of cosplay.
"I think it's awesome to be nominated for this award," she said. "I never thought I would be nominated for my passions outside of adult entertainment. So, it really is a treat."
