James Deen Appears on 'Loveline' Today

LOS ANGELES — James Deen will appear on the syndicated radio program "Loveline" at 10:15 p.m. PST today. "Loveline" is heard in the greater Los Angeles area on KROQ 106.7 FM and is syndicated nationwide.

"I grew up as a fan of 'Loveline,' and it's an honor to be asked to join the discussion on sex," Deen said. "Open communication about sex is important to me, and now I'm taking it to the airwaves.”

Since its start in 1993, "Loveline" has been a call-in question-and-answer program with the primary goal of helping youth and young adults with relationship, sexuality, and drug addiction problems.

Hosts Dr. Drew Pinsky (a fourth-year med student when the show started) and Adam Carolla mixed humor and medical information to build an informative, entertaining program that grew into a nationwide hit. After Carolla's departure in 2005, the show continued with Dr. Drew and a co-host – currently KROQ personality Mike Catherwood.

Deen has been an active adult performer since 2004 and has appeared in more than 3000 adult productions. He recently won the XBIZ Male Performer of the Year honor for the second time, in addition to being named Crossover Performer of the  Year. He is the lead actor in the upcoming mainstream film from Paul Schrader and Bret Easton Ellis, "The Canyons," with Lindsay Lohan. He is also producing a new mainstream steampunk production, "Cowboys and Engines," which is being funded through Kickstarter, and continues to work as an adult performer and director.

James Deen's appearance on "Loveline" is scheduled for 10:15 to 11 PST on KROQ 106.7 in the Los Angeles area. Listeners outside Los Angeles can find their local station at the Loveline website. The show’s hotline is (800) LOVE-191.
