IRIS Picks Up 25 .XXX Domains for $185,000

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — .XXX operator ICM Registry has struck a deal with Luxembourg-based IRIS SARL to pick up 25 new .XXX domains in a deal worth $185,000. 

IRIS, backed by a number of investors and entrepreneurs, picked up Singles.xxx, SexVideos.xxx and AdultChat.xxx, among 22 others

This is the second significant .XXX order from IRIS.

In September the company picked up Hentai.xxx, Sluts.xxx and Cougars.xxx, among many others, in a deal worth $650,000.

At the time IRIS said it was investing significant resources to produce unique and original content coupled with a strategic approach to become a leading adult brand.

In a statement on Thursday, the unidentified chairman of ISIS, said that his company has spent several months analyzing the key adult search terms.

"With our SEO experts [we] have chosen 25 premium XXX names that are highly popular adult search terms," the ISIS chairman said.
