VioletWanda Sex Toy Evolves to Meet Demand

LOS ANGELES The CEO and owner of VioletWanda.com announced this week that her newest line of high tech sex toys is changing to meet the increasing volume of sales that have been driven by the "50 Shades" erotic novel.

The new line, known as Mjolnir Advanced Violet Wand Systems, marries the sexual toy known as a violet wand with electronic controls and a line of high function accessories meant for both sensual-seekers and those who practice BDSM.

According to the company, they are designed to be more fun and increase their erotic potential to beginners and people new to BDSM. A violet wand is a portable transformer that operates like a mini tesla coil, transforming electrical current into a safe way to apply a stream of purple sparks to a person's skin. It is what users do with the sparks that provides the erotic sensations.

"With a violet wand you can electrify your own touch, allowing someone to send tiny champagne-bubble fizzing sparks from their fingertips to their partner, or from their tongue to their partner, or from their tongue ring to their partner," the company said. "Or they can use any other metal prop they happen to have lying around, even things like shrimp forks, to send the sparks and make them sensuously soft or very intense by using different settings."

Violet Wanda said that her high tech erotic toys were largely unknown up until the late 1990s when HBO aired Real Sex episode #30, SexMachines.cum which featured her violet wands. They have been growing in popularity ever since.

She said that with the publication of the "50 Shades" novel, BDSM has become more mainstream and more widespread.

She has increased production due to the growing interest.
