VAN NUYS, Calif. — "MacGyver XXX: A DreamZone Parody" is now available on DVD from Vantage Distribution. The spoof stars Richie Calhoun as the iconic '80s action hero.
"The buzz has been building for the last couple months, and now fans can finally enjoy 'MacGyver XXX's' sex-charged action-adventures," DreamZone Entertainment Vice President Adam Hasner said.
"MacGyver" ran on ABC for seven years and starred Richard Dean Anderson as a secret U.S. government agent who opts to use everyday objects rather than firearms to execute dangerous assignments.
"MacGyver XXX" finds MacGyver on a mission to rescue both his girlfriend and ex-girlfriend from an evil nemesis, using only the sex toys and everyday items at his disposal.
The parody is directed by Van Anderson and co-stars Ella Milano, Jayden Lee, Sabrina Taylor, Sasha Sweet, Earl Slate and James Bartholet.
"Van Anderson and the outstanding cast did a fantastic job," Hasner said. "Ella Milano and Jayden Lee are both upcoming stars and have standout scenes.
"Richie Calhoun obviously had a lot of fun playing the title-character, as is evidenced by his great performance. DreamZone has a banner year of parodies planned for 2013 and 'MacGyver XXX' is an excellent way to lead it off."
