According to X-Worx’s Dave Gallegos, Friday Productions had been through a number of distributors and after a short hiatus was looking to get back into the production game.
“We’re always looking to add new product and new studios, but I’m very picky,” Gallegos told XBIZ. “We took a look at his product and it had good production values and hot girls, so we’ll distribute all their new titles effective immediately.”
A mutual friend of Gallegos and Friday Productions Owner Bill Gannon brought the two sides together and they formed the deal. Friday Productions is named after porn star and director Joe Friday who joined the adult industry full-time after serving as a police officer in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco. Friday was also joined by his then-wife, also a cop, Reina Leone, in making the jump from law enforcement to porn.
The first title to be released as part of the new deal is “Bubble Asscious” directed by Friday and starring Naomi, Alektra Blue, Estella Leon, Mason Storm, Isis Love, Estelle and Kaylynn. Following this release, Friday Productions will continue its Group Therapy and Oral Junkies lines. “Bubble Asscious” is the first high-definition title from Friday.
In addition to producing its own content, X-Worx distributes Shay Sights’ Dragonfly Pictures, Vertical Smiles Video, Lust Entertainment, Yellow Fever Productions and Steve Connors Productions.
