Sexpo Wins Eros Progressive Business Award at XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — Sexpo International said Friday that it  is delighted to have received the Eros Progressive Business Award at the XBIZ Awards show last week.

Presented by the head of the Eros Foundation's Fiona Patten, the award acknowledges Australian businesses that have helped evolve the adult industry in Australia and around the world.

“Sexpo is in its 18th year and is a household name in Australia and South Africa," Patten said. "The show has successfully introduced millions of people to the adult industry in a safe and, dare I say, clean way.

"It has taken a really progressive approach to promoting the adult industry and that that is why Sexpo was an easy choice for this year's Eros progressive business award."

Rob Godwin, Sexpo’s International CEO, said that “it’s a tremendous honor to accept such an award on behalf of the Sexpo Team, suppliers, exhibitors and performers."

"Sexpo has become an iconic adult brand but its success lies in bringing the industry together in a positive and professional manner, for consumers to enjoy.  Without the support of The Eros Foundation and The Australian Sex Party standing up for the rights of adult companies such as Sexpo, we wouldn’t be here today.  We look forward to working with our partners and sponsors in bringing new shows to Europe and America during the next 18 months. ”

There will be seven Sexpo shows in 2013, starting in Cape Town on March 6-10 and Sydney March 21-24.
