VAN NUYS, CA — Naughty America was acknowledged for its production efforts with four award trophies at Saturday night’s XBIZ Awards ceremony held at the lavish Hyatt Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
The internet-based company, whose DVD titles are distributed by Pure Play Media, took home honors as Studio Site of the Year for Web & Tech content providers with its NaughtyAmerica.com namesake website for the second year running.
The big winner for the company was its critically acclaimed "Tonight’s Girlfriend" series, which took home two trophies — one as New Series of the Year, and one for Vignette Series of the Year. The series debuted in March of 2012 and quickly established itself for its high-end production values that treat viewers to realistic content shot cinematically with the industry’s top stars.
“Don’t pay them for sex, pay them to leave” is the series’ tagline, and this is played out in each volume with three extended scenes, exploring the fantasy of porn stars satisfying married men’s sexual desires as high-priced call girls. The series showcased some of adult entertainment’s biggest stars in 2012, including: Julia Ann, Jayden Jaymes, Lexi Belle, Kagney Linn Karter, Gracie Glam, Bobbi Starr, Phoenix Marie, Tasha Reign, Ann Marie Rios, Alexis Texas, Rachel Roxxx, Tanya Tate, Asa Akira, Kortney Kane, Courtney Cummz and Veronica Avluv.
"Latin Adultery" won as Best Latin-Themed Series of the Year for the second year in a row. The series, which has been around since 2006, has reached new heights in recent years, as the popularity and interest in Latino porn stars continues to grow.
Stars that appeared in the series during 2012 included: Monique Fuentes, Ann Marie Rios, Yurizan Beltran, Angelina Castro, Kristina Rose, Esperanza Gomez, Cassandra Cruz, Angelina Valentine, Francesca Le' and Jynx Maze.
