LOS ANGELES — Director Miles Long has reached a new milestone in his career. After nearly 15 years of contributing to all aspects of adult entertainment, including directing, performing and glamour photography, Long has pushed into the mainstream photography market, shooting his first billboard ad.
The image is to promote an event he'll host along with Gracie Glam, Kendall Karson and Nikki Phoenix at the TABU Ultra Lounge this Friday at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"It really made sense to have Miles take the pictures for this event," said Robert Morgenthal, general manager for TABU. "Not only is he a critically acclaimed photographer, but he knows the girls well, understands how to portray women in a sexy, yet classy way, and is participating in hosting the event as well. We couldn't have had a more perfect fit. He's also been instrumental in marshaling social media promotion as well as ideas for the event itself.
"We're going to have special packages available for table service including autographed DVDs from all of the starlets hosting the event. In addition, Gracie, Kendall and Nikki will visit with each table so when you come to TABU on Friday the 18th and get a table, you will actually get to meet all the starlets hosting the event!"
Long, whose credits include 500-plus movies and more than 100 magazine layouts, remarked, "I have always tried to push myself professionally, just as I have done in the adult photography and video markets. I knew that I just had to find the right arena to showcase the style of photography work that I have become known for."
He continued, "I have already done numerous of billboard ad campaigns catering to the adult market, and I have really been fortunate to have blossomed in the magazine market as well, with this year seeing my first layouts published in foreign markets as well as the domestic ones, but this is my first billboard campaign I have done for a worldwide company like MGM Grand, and I'm flattered that they have allowed me to shoot it inside the TABU Ultra Lounge. It's the first time an adult producer has ever shot inside this MGM property.”
Long will appear on Spice Radio along with Glam, Karson and Phoenix at 12:10 p.m. Thursday on SiriusXM 103, and then at 3:40 p.m. Friday on Siriux XM 102 on Kayden Kross's "Krossfire" show along with Nicki Hunter.
His latest movie is called "She's A Handful," starring box cover girl Nikki Phoenix as well as Jacky Joy, Alexis Monroe, Shay Fox and Britney Amber.
Long's work currently appears on three billboards in the adult market as well. "I was approached by Bare N Legal Showgirls and Fantasy Topless to provide photos for the billboard advertising for their clubs," he said. "It was my pleasure to furnish them with photos of my good friend Chanel Preston, who graced the cover my film 'Nylons 8' as well as well-known adult stars Lexi Belle and Nikki Phoenix."
