COLT Celebrates Gay Pride, Signs 2 New Stars

SAN FRANCISCO — The Bay Area’s gay pride weekend proved to be a big hit for COLT Studios, which held two successful events and inked two new performers.

Getting maximum mileage out of John Rutherford’s “Big Rig” feature, COLT premiered the movie at the Powerhouse Bar in San Francisco, complete with the truck from the movie parked out front.

“It was a big hit,” COLT’s Kristofer Weston told XBIZ. “The event was sold out and fans could literally go from the bar where we screened the film to the rig where we made the film.”

COLT also had numerous cast members from the film on hand, including Colby Taylor and Gus Mattox.

Following the premiere, COLT turned the famous truck into an impromptu float for the city’s gay pride parade. The float carried COLT men as well as Buckshot boys and caused quite a stir, Weston said.

Pictures of the COLT float made the cover of the Bay Area Reporter, a local newspaper.

While the weekend marked a chance for COLT to celebrate with its fans, it also yielded two items of business news. The company signed Adam Champ and Johnny Cruise.

Champ, an Argentina native, was discovered online by COLT talent coordinator Manfred Speer. He is a newcomer to adult entertainment, according to Weston.

Champ’s first appearance will be in COLT’s “Naked Muscles,” scheduled for release in December.

Like Champ, Cruise also is new to the adult entertainment business, although he will not be appearing in any hardcore content.

Cruise is slated to make his COLT debut in the company’s “Legendary Bodies” softcore posing series.

Charlie Valentine on Channeling Vintage Seduction

There’s a certain softness to Charlie Valentine’s voice — like velvet over steel. She’s warm and easy to talk to, but there’s no mistaking the strength in her words. A Vegas native with glossy black hair and classic Bettie Page bangs, she gives off a timeless kind of cool: the kind of woman who rescues senior pets, meditates before every shoot and genuinely wants to know the story behind your antique furniture.
