XBIZ Summer ’06 Forum Countdown Begins

LOS ANGELES – The official countdown has begun for the XBIZ Summer ’06 Forum, the first adult business gathering presented by XBIZ, the leading webmaster news and resource site and publisher of XBIZ World and XBIZ Video magazines.

With only four days to go before the show begins, scheduled for July 12-14 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, attendance is expected to draw hundreds of adult business professionals to the popular Las Vegas destination.

With a lineup of leading edge informational seminars, daily cocktail parties, poolside cabana networking and an ample list of sponsored evening and after-hours parties, the XBIZ Summer ’06 Forum is expected to quickly become a preferred yearly conference for the adult industry.

Summer Forum corporate sponsors are DHD Media, Xflix and CapitalBucks. Other sponsors include Video Secrets, PussyCash, Silvercash, Webair, TopBucks, DVDsForABuck, Pure Vanilla, FleshLight, SexSearch, NationalNet, Text Bill, Danni.com and NakedSword.

“We’re feeling really good going into this event, and we are confident that the show will knock your socks off,” XBIZ Sales and Marketing Manager Kristen Kaye said. “My sincerest gratitude goes out to all the sponsors for helping to make this happen. Without you, it wouldn’t have been possible.”

Cybersocket has been tapped as the producer of the “Official Gay Webmaster Parties” for the XBIZ Summer ’06 Forum,” and will throw a party each night of the event, starting with a sponsor dinner at Lucky Cheng's Drag Cabaret Restaurant July 11 at 7 p.m., by invitation only. Other Cybersocket parties will be held Wednesday, July 12, and Thursday, July 13, starting at 10:30 p.m. in a celebrity suite that has yet to be announced.

Sponsors of Cybersocket’s webmaster parties are Epoch, CCBill, PythonPays, DirtyBoyVideo.com, PrideBucks, NakedSword, Wildline and PPPCard.

Other highlights include a special panel discussion moderated by Joan Irvine, executive director of ASCAP, at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 13, addressing the importance of implementing a labeling system for the adult industry, what that entails and what it would mean for the industry. Panelists include attorney Lawrence Walters, attorney Greg Piccionelli, Tom Hymes of the Free Speech Coalition and Brandon Shalton, an ASACP advisor and president of Cydata Services.

Registration is still open at XBIZ.com and will be available on site at the Hard Rock Hotel Tuesday, July 11, remaining open until Thursday, July 13.
