LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce that adult performers Nicole Aniston and Riley Reid have been named the Official Trophy Girls for the awards event of the year, the 2013 XBIZ Awards, presented by Fleshlight, this Friday night in Los Angeles.
Aniston is also an award nominee for Female Performer of the Year, while Reid has been nominated for Best New Starlet at the annual gala.
“I'm thrilled to be a Trophy Girl for this year's XBIZ Awards,” said Aniston, who on Thursday will be named 2013 Penthouse Pet of the Year at the first annual “I Heart Pornstars” party at the Key Club. “I'd like to add that in addition to being this year's Penthouse Pet of the Year, I'm excited to be a part of the XBIZ events and awards show. A premature congratulations to the hard-working winners and nominees who entertained throughout 2012!”
Reid remarked, “Being a Trophy Girl for the XBIZ Awards show is more than just an honor to me, it's a privilege. I get to be the young lady who hands those hard-earned awards to the performer, and to me that's the most magical part. We're here just enjoying making porn, having fun and to have the ability to be recognized for who we are and how we do it just makes me enjoy it that much more.”
Reid added, “I adore the people who work in this industry and I want them to know I support them and I'm cheering them on, encouraging them to be raunchy, to be dirty, to do something they've never tried and to do what they love. So to be on stage while this performer is being awarded gives me the ability to share a different kind of moment with my co-workers, to admire them in their moment of glory.”
The red carpet ceremony will honor top achievements across every segment of the industry during the past year. With an expanded list of more than 160 award categories, the 2013 finalist nominees list represents the most expansive array of categories in the history of the XBIZ Awards.
Adult film superstar Tera Patrick will host the show, while Jessica Drake and Kirsten Price will welcome guests as the official red carpet hosts. Nikki Benz will host the backstage winner’s circle.
