ASACP to Attend XBIZ 360° Digital Media Conference

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming XBIZ 360° Digital Media Conference.

The conference is part of the groundbreaking XBIZ 360° series of seminars, presentations, expert discussions and business networking sessions, plus exclusive special events for adult industry leaders.

Slated through Friday at Hollywood’s luxurious Sofitel Hotel, XBIZ 360° features six consecutive conferences and events that are individually devoted to digital media, adult entertainment content, pleasure products and retail — providing the adult entertainment industry with a showcase of technology, tactics, business opportunities and more — highlighted by the XBIZ Awards on Friday..

ASACP staff, including Executive Director Tim Henning, Operations Director Erege Macis and Membership Manager Dawn Yagielowicz, will be in attendance at the event.

“ASACP has attended various XBIZ events since their inception, as these gatherings provide us with access to digital media business owners and adult website operators,” Henning said. “This audience is among the association’s primary targets, as the event’s attendees are on the front line of providing age-inappropriate content — and responsible for keeping children out of and away from this material.”

ASACP will have an information booth set up outside the seminar hall, where donations and new sponsorships will be processed and is also exhibiting at the show’s mix and meet session.

The association will have an advertisement in the show guide along with flyers in the show’s gift bags, compliments of XBIZ and its sponsors.

XBIZ is also helping ASACP financially by underwriting Henning’s attendance with two nights of hotel accommodations in Hollywood, as well as by staging a fundraiser for ASACP and the Free Speech Coalition at the upcoming XBIZ Awards gala.

“Attending the XBIZ 360° Digital Media Conference enables ASACP to bring its message of corporate responsibility and self-regulation to relevant industry stakeholders,” Henning said. “It is also a great opportunity to educate this audience about industry-specific Best Practices and the ASACP-developed Restricted To Adults (RTA) website label, which can make a huge difference in the lives of underage Internet users.”
