New Products, Networking Keep Business Flowing at ANME

BURBANK, Calif. – ANME exhibitors and attendees continued to spark business on day two with networking and deals with the year’s first wave of new releases as the focus of the show.

SX Science used ANME as a platform to announce its “strategic relationship” with Holiday Products, SxScience Labs President and CEO Jeff Northup told XBIZ.

“Holiday Products was the best fit,” Northup said, “our partnership kicks off in January with the full product line ready to ship. Diana has been phenomenal to work with and together, we’re working to support retailers.”

The companies’ focus is on Date Night for Valentine’s Day, Northup said, adding that retailers have already expressed interest in the kit’s ability to introduce consumers to its contents. Date Night includes he company’s flagship products, his and hers sexual enhancement supplements Ladies First for Her and Heads Up for Him, On by Sensuva, System JO lubricant and an SxScience Vibrating Pleasure Ring.

Jimmyjane presented its latest innovation, the Hello Touch, at ANME. The vibrator features two Vibration Pods that are enclosed in silicone and worn as finger pads. “People are already placing orders,” said Morgan Rossi, a new addition to Jimmyjane’s sales team. As Rossi’s first time attending ANME, she said the show allowed her to introduce herself to industry.

Sportsheets introduced a rebranded look to its Sportsheets Premium line and spotlighted the company’s 20-year anniversary with a timeline incorporating both the brand’s milestones and the industry’s as a whole.

“When we came up with the idea of the timeline, it was amazing how far back it went,” Sportsheets CEO Tom Stewart said. “The industry has seen many monumental events and our own milestones have helped shape that – it’s great to quantify them on the timeline.

“Twenty years is a long time and the fact that we’re still here is a testament to everyone that has ever worked at Sportsheets,” Stewart said.

Gearing up for its speaking events at CES, Standard Innovation Corporation brought its marketing team and CEO Danny Osadca to ANME for meetings and to promote the brand’s latest release Thrill. The company also had a Thrill giveaway.

“We had a lot of happy winners,” said Lorraine Byerley, vice president of marketing. “We’re here talking about Thrill and getting feedback from retailers and distributors, as well as letting them know that we’re reinvigorating our marketing and merchandising.”

Kheper Games presented an expanded range of Ladies Night party items. Roxana Forenza, Kheper Games’ sales manager said that the collection is popular for its uplifting message of “there’s always a reason to celebrate.”

“Ladies Night is all about ladies having fun,” Forenza said. “We also expect Massage Seduction to be a hit as the only kit that incorporate massage oil and a game.”

Marcus West, vice president of marketing for Evolved Novelties, conducted meetings with a booth packed with the company’s latest releases.

“It’s been a fantastic show for us,” West said. “There is still a lot of energy behind fetish products so our Ouch line is very popular, as well as our new Adam & Eve lube. Our How To line is getting a lot of response from retailers as an introductory item for new consumers.”

LELO displayed new additions to its range of kits and PicoBong, as well as the company’s new interactive display.

“We wanted to be here to see customers and show our support in the New Year,” LELO USA Director of Sales and Marketing Donna Faro said. “We’re also here reminding everyone that this year marks LELO’s 10-year anniversary.”
