LOS ANGELES — Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and former runaway bride Crystal Harris are getting hitched on New Year’s Eve — hopefully without a hitch this time.
Hefner, 86 and Harris 26 will be married in Hefner’s Los Angeles Holmby Hills Playboy Mansion.
According to Reuters, Harris has changed her Twitter account name to “Crystal Hefner” and tweeted, "Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed. Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner."
The former Playboy Miss December 2009 and cover girl of the now infamous “runaway bride” Playboy magazine issue also tweeted a photo of a room at Mansion full of white and pink flowers, and two-dozen white chairs set for the wedding ceremony.
Harris left Hefner when she got cold feet last June, but according to the Playboy king the couple remained friendly and recently got back together at Harris’ wishes.
At a pre-Christmas bridal shower Harris reportedly asked for Chirstmas ornaments instead of traditional lingerie.
She told US Weekly, "I was deciding what kind of shower I wanted, and I thought I didn't really want a lingerie shower, since I have more than enough lingerie.”
