LOS ANGELES — Desiree Deluca wants to help the families of Sandy Hook Elementary to cover funeral expenses and support them in the healing process, so she’s asking her fans to donate to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund through the United Way.
“This really hit home, since I’ve lived in Connecticut,” Deluca said. “The Newtown area is very close knit and a wonderful place to live, and I’m shocked something like this could happen there. But, I want to help and know the United Way is the best organization to back this project. My fans have big hearts and I’m hoping they open their wallets to help the grieving families.”
Fans who help the Sandy Hook families will be rewarded. Fans who Tweet a screenshot proving they donated to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund through the United Way and they will be entered in a drawing for a DVD and a limited edition Desiree Deluca Adult Trading Card, both personally signed by Deluca.
Fans can also send proof of their donation to bookingdesireedelucaxxx@gmail.com. The drawing will be held in February.
