MARINA DEL REY, Calif. — Performer James Deen earned three nominations for the new XCritic.com Fan Choice Awards.
The nominations include Male Performer of the Year and 2 nominations for Best Actor (Parody) for his work in "Family Guy: The XXX Parody" and "The Official Hangover Parody."

Upon watching “Family Guy: The XXX Parody,” XCritic.com contributor Bill the Hobbyist said, "Sarah [Shevon] and James were a perfect match for their scene, not only in sex but in the characters they each played."
In his review of “The Official Hangover Parody,” Don Houston said of Deen's scene with Dana DeArmond, "their mutual chemistry gave this tryst some serious replay value."
Deen also received five XBIZ Award nominations.
“I am very honored to receive so many nominations," Deen said. "I would like to thank everyone who likes to watch me bang.” In 2012, Deen captured the attention of the mainstream media, performing with Lindsay Lohan in director Paul Schrader’s “The Canyons.” In February 2012, ABC Nightline aired the feature “Porn’s Boy Next Door,” which discussed Deen’s popularity among young women.
