BERLIN -- Manwin Managing Partner Fabian Thylmann was extradited to Germany on Thursday after being arrested in Belgium on tax evasion charges.
Alf Willwacher, a spokesman for Cologne prosecutors, told the Associated Press Friday that Thylmann didn't contest extradition, and it wasn't clear whether he has responded to the accusations against him.
Thylmann was arrested last week on a German warrant, and several properties including his home were searched. Prosecutors, according to the Associated Press, have declined to give details of the case against him.
Based in Luxembourg with offices in Burbank, Calif., Montreal, London, Dublin, Hamburg and Nicosia, Manwin operates Playboy Plus in a licensing deal with Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Playboy Enterprises and also owns blue-chip brands such as Digital Playground, Brazzers and Twistys.
In addition, Manwin owns Reality Kings, YouPorn, Spankwire, Webcams Tube8, ExtremeTube, KeezMovies, Mofos, ExtremeTube, JuicyBoys and PornHub.
Manwin officials did not immediately respond Friday for comment to XBIZ.
