LOS ANGELES — Severe Society Films has received a nomination for Fetish Release of the Year at the XBIZ Awards for its title, "Bound Together."
The company said it continues its innovative approach of bringing a fetish twist to a mainstream genre with "Bound Together," starring Karina Kay and Octavian.
“Fetish has become vastly more mainstream this year!” co-owner Dee Severe said. “The new acceptance of fetish presents so many more opportunities for us. I’m thrilled we got such a good reception for our romantic BDSM movie. It was a new avenue for us and we’ll definitely be shooting 'Bound Together 2' in the near future.”
The release marks the company’s first romantic couples release.
“We continue to have the good fortune to get some of the most fantastic talent in fetish working for us,” co-owner Jimmy Broadway said.
“They are people who practice these fetishes in their personal lives, not just when the cameras are on them, and I’m pleased that the industry recognizes the amazing and authentic performances they give us.”
