Sportsheets, Sex & Mischief Recognized With 4 XBIZ Awards Nominations

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. Sportsheets, Manbound and the Sex & Mischief TM collection have been named in four categories at the XBIZ Awards.

The company has been recognized for its packaging design and manufacturing in the gay, couples and BDSM product realms.

Sex & Mischief was named in the Soft Bondage Line of the Year category with regard to its matched set of easy-to-use and fun-to-try restraint systems, blindfolds, harnesses, blindfolds and floggers designed for the beginner player or vanilla consumer looking to explore BDSM.

Sex & Mischief also was noted in the Excellence in Product Packaging category honoring its high-fashion photography, high-impact merchandising plans, and signature black-and-white motif.

"The Sportsheets team is honored to be recognized for our hard work in these important product sectors and have seen firsthand how essential it is for retailers to have products from these key categories in constant stock," Sportsheets founder and CEO Tom Stewart said. "This has been an incredible year of growth and success for Sportsheets and Sex & Mischief and we want to thank our colleagues and fans for their ongoing support and excitement for our products.”

The Couples Pleasure Product of the Year nomination went to the Sex & Mischief collection’s Grey Tie, a silky silver tie inspired by the erotic novel, “Fifty Shades of Grey” and the main characters’ affinity for using a grey tie as a restraint.

Sportsheets’ Manbound brand was nominated in the Gay/Lesbian Pleasure Product of the Year category for the Over the Door Sex Sling.
