The Hustler branded station on channel 599 went live today, the company confirmed.
With more than 15 million subscribers in the U.S., DirecTV provides a large platform for the Hustler brand to establish its adult broadcast market dominance. Since DirecTV is available nationwide, customers no longer have to deal with their regional cable providers to view Hustler TV content.
The Hustler TV channel operates on a pay-per-view basis, where customers can purchase blocks of viewing time. There is no monthly membership fee.
Hustler TV acts as the exclusive broadcasting partner for many adult studios, which includes Teravision, Jules Jordan Video, Defiance Films, VCA Pictures, Red Light District and Evil Angel. All the studios’ new releases are exclusive to Hustler TV.
Each of the adult films broadcast on the channel have been somewhat sanitized for the PPV audience. The content is rated XX½, which prohibits anal sex.
