Cherokee said she brought her perspective as a female performer to “The Dominators” line and will continue to draw from her performing experience as she continues to direct other projects.
“I see a lot of movies that have beautiful girls and good lighting, but the sex is lacking,” Cherokee told XBIZ. “I’d like to find a happy medium with a movie that has prettier girls who are favorably lit but also keeps the sex nasty.”
Although "Dominators" is the first DVD Cherokee has helmed, she came into the project with some directing experience, thanks to her webiste, CherokeeXXX.com. She said "Dominators" represents a departure from her web-based work.
“I've been wanting to direct a title like ‘The Dominators 2’ for a while now,” she said. “As a performer, I've been in more than 100 videos, and I've had ideas kicking around in my head that I wanted see behind a camera. When [Sinteractive owner] Long G told me he was interested in having me direct, I jumped at the chance and shot some of those ideas. As fans who watch 'The Dominators 2' will see, I'm interested in pushing boundaries.”
“The Dominators 2” stars Havana Ginger, Alexis Silver, Ayana Angel, Angel Eyes, Jazmine and Sinnamon, with male performers L.T., Tee Reel, Sledge Hammer and John E. Depth.
Long G said Cherokee is an important addition to Sinteractive's stable of directors, which also includes Mario Rossi.
“Cherokee's work captures women using their feminine power to bend men to their will,” Long G said, “which is what ‘The Dominators’ is all about. In ‘The Dominators 2,’ as in volume one, the women take control of the action.”
The name Sinteractive may be new in the industry, but the company’s titles are familiar to distributors and consumers. Formerly known as Mercenary Europe, Sinteractive has several ongoing series, including “Bush Hunter,” “Hole Collector” and “Syrens of Sex.”
The company’s upcoming releases include “Phetish Phantasy 3,” directed by Mandy Bright, releasing June 27. The movie features an all-European cast, including Katy Parker, Black Diamond, Barbie, Susanne Brend and Bright.
