James Deen to Answer Measure B Questions on Reddit

LOS ANGELES — Porn star James Deen will be on Reddit.com today to answer questions about Measure B and performer safety. The AMA (Ask-Me-Anything) session is scheduled to take place from 6 to 9 p.m.

"I will be answering any questions anyone might have about condoms in porn, health and safety precautions, protocols, anything you can think of," Deen writes on his blog. "For those who don’t know, Measure B is on the ballot tomorrow trying to make it mandatory for porn in Los Angeles to require condoms.

"It is posed as if it is beneficial, however it doesn’t really do anything to protect anyone [and] it hurts the city of L.A. commerce wise and — most important to me — is unconstitutional and violates my freedom of expression, protected under the first amendment."

In addition to lending his services as a spokesman for the adult industry's No on Government Waste campaign, Deen has in recent weeks taken to websites such as Jezebel.com, TakePart.com and YouTube to raise awareness of Measure B and what it will mean to the adult industry should it pass.
