LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce Nikki Benz as official host of the Backstage Winner’s Circle at the industry's awards event of the year, the 2013 XBIZ Awards, presented by Fleshlight, on Jan. 11 in Los Angeles.
Benz, the 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year who started her adult film career in 2003, is one of the most popular stars in the adult industry today. She co-hosted the XBIZ Awards red carpet for the 10th anniversary show this past January.
“I’m honored first of all,” Benz said. “XBIZ has always been very good to me. I got to host the red carpet last year with Lisa Ann and I’ve always either presented or been involved in the Awards Show somehow. So to be doing the backstage this time, interviewing all the winners, I’m just honored. So thank you very much.”
Benz, a native of Toronto, recently returned to performing in hardcore sex scenes after a one-year hiatus while she was under exclusive contract to Penthouse as part of her Pet of the Year duties.
On Jan. 11, winners will be crowned in more than 150 different award categories. Glitz, glamour and the biggest personalities in the world of adult entertainment have made the XBIZ Awards the most prestigious symbol of industry success. The annual event attracts A-list movers and shakers of the multibillion-dollar adult entertainment industry, generating buzz throughout the business and mainstream media. With an expanded list of categories, the 2013 XBIZ Awards show is set to feature the most expansive array of honors in the show’s history.
Tera Patrick will host the 2013 ceremony, while Jessica Drake and Kirsten Price will welcome guests on the red carpet.
The gala will culminate an unprecedented series of six grand-slam industry events dubbed XBIZ 360°, which gets underway on Jan. 9 in L.A.
