VividTV Offers 'Kate Plus 8'' Star Naked Host Gig

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment wants former “Kate Plus 8” TV reality star Kate Gosselin to be the first naked host of its recently announced VividTV pay TV channel.

Canned from her gig as a blogger for website CouponCabin last week, Hirsch wasted no time sending Gosselin a letter with the offer.

“We were so sorry to hear that Coupon Cabin [sic] felt you weren’t ‘a good fit’ but we think you’d be terrific for for VividTV, and we’d like to open that door for you,” Hirsch wrote in the letter obtained by TMZ.

Hirsch said he appreciates Gosselin’s “perkiness” and offered her the opportunity wear erotic outfits (when she’s not nude) and build her fan base.

Taking Hirsch up on his offer may not be as far-fetched as it seems. Gosselin, now 37, could go the way of Octomom Nadya Suleman after losing her $22,500 per episode “Kate Plus 8” paycheck and now her blogging job.

CopuonCabin CEO CEO Scott Kluth explained in a letter on the website that Gosselin’s ideas  "do not align with the authenticity that we set out to build almost a decade ago," and tht she wasn’t a good fit for his team.

According to the Huffington Post, a tell-all book “Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World," painted a dark picture of the former TLC star as an abusive mother and demanding performer, prompting the TV network to fire her.

Hirsch ended the letter to Gosselin with a “Romneyesque” jibe saying, “We have binders of women who would love the job, but you're definitely our first choice."

Some entertainment industry bloggers speculate whether Gosselin would ever entertain Vivid’s offer pointing to a her Tweet in the firing aftermath that said, "Just finished a long SUPER fun project...so good to be home but what a great time had by all involved!....A fun bright future lies ahead!"
