Misty Haze Launches New Site

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Alt performer and owner of Misty’s XXX Girls Misty Haze has launched an upgraded version of her website in the hopes of giving the small production company a greater Internet presence.

The site, which now features video-on-demand, focuses on Haze’s brand of underground reality porn.

“To be honest, most of the girls are my friends,” Haze told XBIZ. “They’re all Colorado girls, and for many of them this is their first and only time on camera. I don’t recruit very far beyond our small town.”

To illustrate how small the local adult community is in Colorado Springs, Haze estimated that it would require nearly two hours to drive to a testing facility to get AIM certified.

While the company’s content focus is on porn, Haze blends local music acts into her films to give her productions a distinct look and feel.

"Having reality porn with unsigned bands has helped us market and sell our brand of porn with underground record labels, the music fans and the adult consumer,” Haze said. “Yes, we are a porn site,” Haze said. “But we’re looking to create an alt/metal underground community and bring that community up with us.”

To add to the sense of an underground community, Haze’s site features music from local, unsigned metal bands.

Haze began her porn venture with her boyfriend, Rick, in 2004. The company has produced three volumes of content and plans to release Vol. 4 later this month.

While Haze is actively seeking a DVD distribution partner, she has no plans to put a contract girl in front of her HC 85 Sony Handycam.

“I’m the only contract performer,” Haze said. “We use a small camera because it works for us, and I don’t want to intimidate our performers; they’re all real girls.”
