NakedSword on Board With Temptation Awards

NEW BRUNSWICK, Canada – In an effort to promote the international integration of the straight and gay sides of the adult industry, the producers of the first-ever Temptation Awards have picked video-on-demand adult company NakedSword as the advisory panel for all gay nominee categories.

Produced by Temptation News, a news source for the adult industry in Canada and the U.S., the awards show is scheduled for July 29 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Pre-nominations for gay companies, studios or performers opened June 12 in 11 categories.

Categories include Best Sex Scene, Best Ethnic Video, Best Marketing Campaign, Best Live Content Provider and Best Distribution Company, to name a few.

Temptation Awards representative Dusty Marie told XBIZ that the choice to bring NakedSword on board as an advisor was to provide the gay adult community with an unbiased, knowledgeable committee that is familiar with the gay side of the business.

Calling NakedSword a highly respected leader in the gay industry, Temptation News CEO George Whitty said he was thrilled to collaborate with them.

“The Temptation Awards can now offer categories embracing the entire adult industry,” Whitty said.

Marie added that after the show makes its debut in the U.S., Temptation News plans to hold it annually in Canada, although a specific location has not yet been announced.

“We’re honored that Temptation News turned to us for guidance in the gay industry,” NakedSword President Tim Valenti said. “And we think it’s essential that the gay adult industry be represented at a unified, high-end event. Our close relationship with other gay media outlets and knowledge of the top gay adult content allows us to help Temptation News in their exciting new venture. It’s important to remember that all of us – gay and straight – are part of the same vibrant, creative industry.”

The show will be hosted by Wicked Pictures’ Jessica Drake and is sponsored by HotMovies.com, E-Omega Solutions and Adult DVD Empire.
