LOS ANGELES — Gay porn star Reese Rideout and his wife Becky will be featured in the Oct. 17 premiere of VH1's new marriage-based reality show "I'm Married to A..."
The new series is meant to spotlight unconventional married couples and the personal and social struggles they face from their unorthodox unions.
The hour-long premiere introduces Rideout as Nick, a self-proclaimed "gay-for-pay" performer in the adult industry who describes his union with wife Becky as "normal" and "happy."
"I consider Becky and I a normal couple," Rideout tells VH1. "Who cares? We're happy. I think our marriage is A-plus, plus, plus, plus, plus."
Becky — like many of Rideout's costars — stands behind her man.
"He has sex with men. Besides that little minor detail about his career, we're an everyday couple," Becky notes. "I knew the man I wanted to marry and it was fine with me. It still is."
Rideout got his start in the porn industry in 2006 and has since gone on to perform in more than 30 gay titles, including numerous Randy Blue releases.
