XBIZ TV: James Deen Talks Doc Johnson Sex Toy Line

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ TV has debuted an exclusive video interview with James Deen, filmed on location at the first-ever signing at the Romantix Intimate Boutique for his new signature toy line from Doc Johnson.

In the interview, XBIZ Associate Managing Editor Ariana Rodriguez probes adult film superstar James Deen about his experience collaborating with the legendary manufacturer Doc Johnson and their plans for expanding his signature line.

The signing event took place at the Los Angeles Romantix boutique on Oct. 4. Gift bags were filled with Doc Johnson product, materials and Romantix gift certificates for the first 25 attendees. The James Deen Signature Collection was present throughout the store, and was available for purchase during the event.

Of the event, Deen said, “I can’t thank my fans enough for their support and excitement about my career. The signing was an amazing experience; I had no idea what to expect, but the turnout, the merchandising, and life-size cutouts of myself made quite a statement. Huge thanks to Doc Johnson and Romantix for putting together such an awesome event.”

Fans that attended the event received custom-signed James Deen glossy photos, and more than 45 fans opted to pose for photos with the star — one fan came to the event via Skype from the Philippines.

“Doc Johnson is committed to creating an exciting experience for the consumer. Events like the James Deen signing allow us to engage and to maintain lasting relationships with our stars, our consumers, and our retailers,” said Victoria Bowman-Steinour, Doc’s director of marketing and public relations. “We knew that James Deen has something really special that resonates with fans, well before signing him to an exclusive product line — but seeing him engage his fans in person was just wonderful; it brought the core of our partnership full circle and it was an honor to work with Romantix on bringing James Deen directly to his fans.”
