LOS ANGELES — Adult star Alexis Texas has signed an exclusive performance contract with Adam & Eve Pictures.
Texas told XBIZ the deal is for one year and nine movies, starting on Oct. 1.
A former bartender for three years in San Marcos, Texas, where she also attended Texas State University, the popular starlet started performing in adult movies in 2006 and has appeared in more than 400 titles, working for every major company in adult entertainment during her eventful career as a freelance performer.
"I’m definitely excited," Texas said Friday from New York, where she is feature dancing at the Lace gentlemen's club in West Nyack. "It’s a new chapter. I'm definitely excited to be with a company like Adam & Eve. It’s a big family and I'm happy to be a part of it now."
Texas, who was discovered by Shane's World in October 2006 during their first "College Amateur Tour" shoot, said Adam & Eve approached her about the possibility of coming aboard.
"I've never really had a chance to be a contract girl. I had always been independent for six years, but I was busy," Texas said.
She continued, "I’m grateful for where my career has gone and I'm excited about where this will take me as well. This is different, but different is never bad. Change is good."
As part of the agreement, Texas said she will also be making appearances at retail stores and trade shows across the country for Adam & Eve, which is based in Hillsborough, N.C.
