ASACP Prepares for XBIZ EU 2012

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its participation in the upcoming XBIZ EU 2012, slated for Sept. 17-19, at the Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury Hotel in London.

XBIZ EU is a three-day international digital media conference designed to deliver cutting-edge educational seminars, engaging technology workshops, special guest keynote presentations and high-energy business-networking and deal-making opportunities with a European flair.

ASACP will be represented at the event by its Executive Director, Tim Henning, who will be promoting the association’s message of adult industry responsibility and self-regulation, as well as furthering its mission of keeping children out of, and away from, adult entertainment.

“XBIZ EU offers the association an excellent opportunity to meet with a wide range of European business leaders and adult entertainment entrepreneurs,” Henning said. “This event is also a great venue for spreading information about ASACP services such as the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website meta-label, which works hand-in-hand with parental filtering technologies to prevent children’s access to age-inappropriate content — a vital consideration for businesses coping with the EU’s evolving Internet laws.”

“Europe’s strong presence in the mobile arena also makes this event a great place to educate stakeholders about ASACP’s Best Practices for mobile apps and websites,” Henning added. “Of course, our presence at this event would not be possible without the ongoing support of our sponsors, members and contributors.”
