Tera Patrick Snags FHM Cover

STUDIO CITY, Calif. — As president of TeraVision and a Vivid contract girl, it’s Tera Patrick's job to maintain a high profile. Becoming the first adult star to appear on the cover of FHM’s U.S. edition is a testament to her crossover mainstream appeal.

Patrick appeared on the cover of the U.K. edition of FHM earlier this year, and based on the success of that appearance, Executive Editor Sam Barclay decided to put Tera on the July cover in the U.S.

“At this point, I am still speechless,” Patrick said. “Modeling has always been my first love, and I have always wanted to be on the cover of FHM. My dreams have now officially been fulfilled.”

Patrick is no stranger to kudos from the popular “lad mag.” She serves as FHM-U.K.’s sex and relationship advice columnist every month, and was ranked No. 57 on FHM’s 2006 Top 100 Sexiest Women In The World list.

“I feel as though I have truly crossed over to mainstream and look at this as one of the largest accomplishments in my career to date,” Patrick said. “I am so happy and can’t wait to promote the magazine at upcoming appearances.”

Commemorating her cover shot, Patrick has scheduled in-store appearances at Virgin Megastores on both coasts on consecutive days. On June 19, Patrick will meet and greet her fans at Virgin’s New York City location in Times Square. The next day, she’ll visit the Virgin store in the Hollywood & Highland complex in the heart of Hollywood.

At the signings, Patrick is not only promoting her FHM cover, but also her new TeraVision movie, “Teradise Island.” The feature was shot in high-definition on location in Maui. While the movie won’t be released until July 18, Patrick explained she wanted to give her fans something special.

“I wanted to thank every one of my fans for the support they have shown, and one way I can do that is offering advance copies of ‘Teradise Island’ to anyone who comes out to the Virgin Megastore to see me,” Patrick said.
