CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Smash Pictures has released a soft trailer for its eagerly anticipated release "Fifty Shades of Grey: a XXX Adaptation," streeting on Sept. 20.
The parody, a re-imagining of E.L. James' record-breaking "Fifty Shades" book trilogy, is written and directed by Jim Powers and stars Allie Haze and Ryan Driller as college virgin Anastasia Steele and kinky billionaire Christian Grey, the young couple at the heart of James' story.
Costars include Julia Ann as Christian's one-time sex teacher, Elena (AKA: Mrs. Robinson), Alexis Ford as Anastasia's best friend Katherine Kavanaugh, Johnny Castle as Elliot Grey, Logan Pierce as Boy Toy and Jazlene Jade as Leila the Sub.
Though initially conceived as a three-in-one parody, "Fifty Shades of Grey: a XXX Adaptation" has generated such impressive pre-order numbers it has already led Smash Pictures to greenlight a sequel based solely on James' third book "Fifty Shades Freed."
