CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Smash Pictures has released a trailer for "Fifty Shades of Grey: A XXX Adaptation," its eagerly anticipated re-imagining of E.L. James' record-breaking "Fifty Shades" book trilogy.
Set to street on Sept. 20, "Fifty Shades of Grey: a XXX Adaptation" stars Allie Haze and Ryan Driller as college virgin Anastasia Steele and her kinky billionaire master Christian Grey, the young couple at the heart of James' erotic BDSM romance.

The spoof, which has already garnered national media buzz since wrapping in June, is written and directed by Jim Powers and re-creates the more sensational and captivating moments found in all three novels.
"I took the main elements of the first book — by far the best — and utilized the most interesting character from the second: his insane ex-sub," Powers told XBIZ. "I made a stand-alone movie, avoiding the hanging endings of the first two books but not going so far as to have her live happily ever after."
"Fifty Shades of Grey: A XXX Adaptation" costars Julia Ann as Christian's one-time sex teacher, Elena (AKA: Mrs. Robinson), Alexis Ford as Anastasia's best friend Katherine Kavanaugh and Jazlene Jade as Leila the Sub. Rounding out the cast are Johnny Castle as Elliot Grey and Logan Pierce as Boy Toy.
