San Francisco XBIZ.net Gathering Unites Bay Area Adult, Technology Professionals

SAN FRANCISCO — The latest Bay Area XBIZ.net Gathering hosted by Gamelink.com and sponsored by JuicyAds.com, drew record attendance bringing together the region’s booming technology community with local adult industry execs for an evening of professional networking at San Francisco hotspot Mr. Smith’s.

Jeff Dillon, GameLink.com's director of online sales, told XBIZ that with more than 50 professionals in attendance, Friday’s XBIZ.net Gathering surpassed the magnitude of last year’s Gathering, which was hosted by Gamelink at the same venue.

“It was a bigger turnout than I expected,” Dillon said. “We took over the entire nightclub this time and JuicyAds was kind enough to sponsor the bar. There was a great mix of people from both mainstream and the large Bay Area adult community. The great thing about San Francisco is that it is a technology-driven community and a hotbed for start-up business; it makes it possible to establish a wonderful synergy between mainstream and adult.”

JuicyAds’ David adds,“The XBIZ.net Gathering turned out to be really successful — there was a good showing of people. This is definitely something we should keep doing in the Bay Area, and I’m really glad XBIZ and Gamelink came together to organize it and I’m thankful for the opportunity to sponsor it. It was very productive — I met new and old clients, which made it definitely worthwhile.”

Among the attendees of Friday’s XBIZ.net Gathering were Jay from JuicyAds, Ilan Bunimovitz (Gamelink), Tim Valenti (Nakedsword), Steven Scarborough (Hot House Entertainment), Gill Sperlein (industry attorney), VideoZ, Titan Media, and more, including reps from Kink.com, Playpen.com and Twitter.

"The Gamelink and XBIZ event was a wildly successful event attended by an impressive and diverse gathering of executives and leaders from bay area's digital powerhouses," Mobius Payments CEO Mia Zhu said. "What a lively bunch, I had a great time! Congratulations to Jeff Dillon; Gamelink and XBIZ for organizing and hosting such an extraordinary and productive event."

“The XBIZ mixer that Jeff Dillon and Gamelink put on last Friday was pretty epic," PlayPen.com President/founder James Johnston said. "All the right people were there and Juicy kept the free drinks flowing until everyone was laid, paid and headed out with two or three new potential business partners.”

The XBIZ.net Gatherings are held multiple times per year in various worldwide locations. The events offer attendees a chance to network and get to know fellow professionals in order to build fruitful connections.

“Thanks to everyone that made it out and made it the most successful San Francisco XBIZ.net Gathering,” Dillon said. “I look forward to the next one that’ll be even bigger and better — this is just the start.”
