Klout.com Ranks Jenna Jameson, Vicky Vette Most Influential Porn Stars

LOS ANGELES — Jenna Jameson and Vicky Vette have been ranked the most influential adult stars in the world by social networking site Klout.com.

According to Vette, Klout is the “gold standard” in measuring influence by culling information from users of major social networks including Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and others.

Jameson and Vette were the only adult stars to score a Klout of 83 (83.32 and 82.82 respectively), Vette said. According to the website, the average user score is 40.

Other adult stars also ranked well. Penthouse Pet of the Year and VNA Girl Nikki Benz currently ranks 3rd in the world with an 81.87, followed by Lisa Ann (81.85), Alexis Texas and Sasha Grey (81.62 each).

Other notable adult stars include: Sophie Dee (81.37), Asa Akira (80.99), Bree Olson (80.71), Joanna Angel (80.00), Jenna Haze (79.16), Sara Jay (78.33), Gabby Quinteros (78.26) and Sunny Leone (77.61).

Vette said that earlier this week, Klout rolled out extensive changes to the way it calculates influence, now taking into consideration over 400 different variables. For instance, Klout now considers not only the number of followers a star has, but also who the followers are, and how much they engage with all important retweets, replies, comments and mentions.

Klout has also become influential in the corporate world. The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas gave instant room upgrades to guests with high Klout scores, and job applicants are now being considered in part based on their Klout score.

"I am extremely flattered Klout gave me such a score. I take social networking, influence and interaction with fans very seriously. In this day and age of girls buying tens of thousands of fake followers, it's great to see social networking circles digging deeper into the real numbers to measure true reach,“ Vette said.

She added, “It's too bad Facebook is so uptight with anything adult. Getting a foothold on Facebook is almost impossible or the scoring would be higher."
