TMZ: Lexington Steele Sued by Lawyers Over Fees

LOS ANGELES — Veteran porn star Lexington Steele is being sued by his lawyers over past due legal fees.

TMZ reported that the legendary performer owes $85,213.68 to the firm of Wasserman, Comden, Casselman & Esensten for services that date back to 2008.

The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court also asks for four years of interest on top of the bill that includes at least $1,000 in attorney’s fees.

There were no details on why the lawyers waited until now to slap Steele with the suit.

TMZ said Steele hadn't returned their phone calls for comment, but Steele disputes the story, and said that he never heard from TMZ. He told XBIZ it was more about the reporting of public information "in a manner TMZ has become known for."

"The firm successfully defended me in 2010. I was awarded a sum of money. The award was paid directly to the firm towards the outstanding balance of legal fees. Including my continued payments made towards the balance, the balance remains open. The firm is taking steps to recover the remaining balance," Steele said.

Steele recently appeared as Nick Fury in Vivid Entertainment’s “AvengersXXX: A Porn Parody” directed by Axel Braun.

He’s also a co-host for this year’s Urban X Awards scheduled for July 21.
