Standard Innovation Corporation Taps Ogilvy PR for Representation

NEW YORK — Ogilvy Public Relations, an integrated global communications firm, today announced its new global partnership with Standard Innovation Corporation, makers of the We-Vibe and other popular sexual wellness products.

Ogilvy PR will support the brand across all communications channels from traditional PR, including media relations, events and transmedia content strategy and creation on all We-Vibe social platforms.

We-Vibe reports 2 million customers to date from more than 50 countries since the original product was launched in 2008. The company’s 2011 global survey of more than 750 distributors named We-Vibe the No. 1 selling product of its kind among 95 percent of retailers polled.

“Sex is no longer a taboo topic discussed behind closed doors,” said Kate Cronin, global head of Ogilvy PR’s Healthcare Practice and managing director for Ogilvy PR New York. “Between the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ global phenomenon and films like ‘Hysteria,’ people around the world are empowered to not only talk about, but take charge of their sexual health. Marrying our strong healthcare background with our consumer branding expertise, this new relationship with Standard Innovation Corporation further strengthens our position as leaders in the consumer health industry.”

In addition to the We-Vibe III, Standard Innovation Corporation also carries other popular pleasure products for personal enjoyment, including the Touch, Tango and Salsa, which are also rechargeable and waterproof.

“The We-Vibe is now available on every continent at thousands of retail locations from drug stores to fine boutiques and beyond, with plans for further expansion across our product portfolio,” said Danny Osadca, CEO of Standard Innovation Corporation. “Ogilvy PR's legacy and deep branding experience, combined with their global reach, made them the best partner to help us continue to build and sustain momentum for our rapidly growing business."
