TARZANA, Calif. — AMKingdom.com announced today that its Harry Sparks-directed sex comedy "Revenge of the Petites" has been nominated for Feature Movie of the Year at the 2012 Urban X Awards.
Organized by director Giana Taylor, the Urban X Awards recognizes outstanding achievement in ethnic porn.
Sparks expressed excitement over his film's nomination, noting its message of unity and acceptance. “We set out to make a feature adult movie unrestricted by labels and niches, but rather celebrating numerous body types and ethnicities,” he said.
"Revenge of the Petites" is Sparks and producer Kim Nielsen's homage to American coming-of-age comedies such as "Revenge of the Nerds,” “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” and “American Pie."
The film’s story follows a pair of college coeds (Marie McCray, Skin Diamond) who get bamboozled into performing a sex act online by a group of mean-spirited sorority girls. While the duo initially set out for payback, they soon realize that it's more fun to turn the other cheek.
The fifth annual Urban X Awards will be held at the Beyond the Star's Palace in Glendale, Calif. on July 21.
