Peekay Opens Lovers Boutique in Oregon

LOS ANGELES — Lovers has opened its first store in Oregon, near Clackamas Town Center in Portland.

Lovers growth plans include two to five more stores in Oregon.

"We have many customers who drive to Washington to shop with us specifically," said Phyllis Heppenstall, founder and chairman of the board of Peekay, Inc., the parent company of the Lovers stores in Washington and now Oregon. "Our Oregon customer base deserves their own stores."

The new location is 4800 square feet with ample parking.

The store presentation is designed to "knock your socks off," Heppenstall said, noting that upon entering the boutique that her staff sets out to treat customers "like royalty."

Like all Lovers stores, the new location carries a selection of lingerie and personal and educational products focused on sexual wellness and exploration. The Lovers shopping experience is designed with women and couples in mind, featuring beautifully appointed stores, top-of-the-line merchandise, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff, Heppenstall said.

"We're very excited to open our first store in Oregon," she continued. "Many of our loyal customers from Oregon and Southwest Washington have asked us for a Portland-area location in the past, and we're thrilled to be able to introduce Lovers to a new audience."

The Grand Opening of the Clackamas Lovers store began on Friday and continues through Sunday. The event will feature special three-day-only offers, a gift with purchase for the first 100 customers, and raffle prizes throughout the weekend.

Peekay, Inc., founded in 1981 by Heppenstall and her daughter Kris Butt, operates 33 stores in Washington, California and Oregon under the Lovers, A Touch of Romance, and ConRev brands.

Lovers - Clackamas is located at 11481 SE 82nd Ave, Portland, 97086. Call 503.742.4955 or visit LoversPackage.com for more information.
